Causes of Breast Cancer

These are the possible causes of breast cancer:

•    Hereditary – Studies have shown that about 30% of women with breast cancer has a family history of having breast cancers in most of their ancestry.

•    Age and Gender – Breast cancer recipients are mostly women. An estimated of 100times susceptible to breast cancer than men. It also shows in studies that older women have higher risks of acquiring breast cancer.

•    Women who have children only after the age of 30 has greater risks of developing breast cancer.  Ironically speaking, being pregnant at an early age or having more than one child reduces the risk of developing breast cancer cells.

•     Obesity also contributes in having higher risks of breast cancer. Women who are overweight or obese produce more estrogen which more likely helps cancer cells to grow faster.
